Conveniently situated just two minutes walk from the centre of the village, Corks offers a fresh approach to fine dining in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
With room for up to 50 diners at any one time and deep couches in quiet corners, Corks is ideal for people who wish to relax and chat over good food and, of course, a nice bottle of wine. We also hold wine tastings once a month.
Great care has been taken to create the perfect ambience while David and Lisa have put all their expertise into choosing a wonderful selection of wines to complement the exquisite dishes designed by local chef John Moore, which are all created from fresh produce daily.
Freshly cooked breakfasts, are available from 10-12, Lunches which include open style sandwiches, Wraps or Salads, soups and choice of a hot meal are served 12-6pm then our evening menu kicks in with all mains on a specials board ranging from Steaks, Duck, fish dish, chicken dish, vegetarian dish, pasta dish and bangers & mash. Main course price range from €12.50 - €20.
A selection of twelve wines are available by the glass with over sixty wines by the bottle, enough to suit anyone’s taste.
Corks is fast becoming a favourite with locals from the surrounding area for its outstanding homemade chowder, pate and a selection of creative fish and meat dishes. Also a healthy food option for children like fresh chicken strips, mash & veg. and a fruit fondue for dessert.
